The Colours of Embroidered Badges
At the extreme, embroidery can produce very accurate colour rendition by using a large number of precisely coloured threads. Unsurprisingly this affects the price significantly.
For most purposes there is a sensible balance to be struck between colour accuracy, price and the actual visual impact once the badge is sewn on the receiving garment.
Another factor to consider is using the colour of the backing material as part of the design. This reduces the number of stitches needed to make the badge, and thus the price.
